About eCARBURANT

How the information is updated

eCARBURANT organises publicly reported station information and checks it automatically every 2 hours. Implausible values and duplicate records are excluded. The timestamp shown beside each price is the time of the latest operator report, which may be older than the latest automatic check.

Updates and resilience

The collection process is scheduled every two hours. Each price shows its own reporting age because networks update at different times. If the official source is unavailable, the last known values remain visible and are clearly marked as older rather than being presented as live.

The following fuel networks currently appear in our database:

• Gazprom (19)

“Lowest reported price” means the lowest value among the comparable reports currently available on eCARBURANT, not necessarily every station in Romania.

Map and location

The map uses OpenStreetMap data served through OpenFreeMap. Location is requested only after a browser permission prompt. Coordinates are rounded for the shareable map URL, are not stored in the application database and are not used to build a movement profile. Technical providers may receive the IP address needed to deliver the page and map tiles; details are in the privacy policy.

Independence

eCARBURANT is not affiliated with any fuel network, OpenStreetMap, OpenFreeMap, Google or Waze. Network names and logos identify reported stations and remain the property of their respective owners.
