2. What the service provides

eCARBURANT is a free, advertising-supported information and comparison service. It does not sell fuel, accept payments or represent any fuel network, the Romanian Competition Council or the operators of external map and navigation services. No account is required, and editorial ordering is not sold to advertisers.

3. Price data and its limits

Prices are organised from public reports, checked automatically every 2 hours and shown with their reporting age. They may differ from the price at the pump because of reporting delays, local promotions, errors or incomplete coverage. Always check the price displayed at the station before refuelling.

4. Ranking and advertising

Organic results are ordered primarily by the reported price for the fuel selected by the user. Available filters may restrict results by fuel, network, distance or route; equal prices may be ordered by distance, freshness or a stable technical identifier. Advertising does not change the reported price or buy an organic ranking. Any sponsored placement or commercial relationship that may influence presentation will be clearly labelled and separated from impartial results.

5. Distance, routes and estimated savings

Distances, travel times, detours, fuel costs and possible savings are estimates calculated from the coordinates, route, consumption and prices available at that moment. They do not include every traffic event, road restriction, vehicle variation or promotion and are not navigation or financial guarantees. Follow road signs and check the actual price before making a detour.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the service for personal or professional price checks and may cite displayed data when you identify both eCARBURANT and the original data source. You must not disrupt the service, bypass technical limits, perform aggressive automated collection, introduce malicious code or use the website unlawfully. Contact us for programmatic or high-volume access.

7. Availability and liability

We take reasonable measures to keep information accurate and the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free third-party data. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect loss or decisions made solely from displayed prices. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Maps, brands and external links

The map uses © OpenStreetMap contributors data served through OpenFreeMap. Google Maps, Waze, advertising services and other external websites have their own terms and privacy practices; opening them leaves eCARBURANT.

Fuel-network names, logos and other marks are displayed only to identify the reported station. They remain the property of their respective owners and do not imply sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement.

9. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms when the service or applicable rules change. The displayed update date identifies the current version. Romanian law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer protections.
